Customer help
Support
Email support@retrolan.store for RetroLAN help.
What to send
- Your order email or license key, if this is about a paid unlock.
- Your RetroLAN Stick ID, shown in Arcade Setup or Companion.
- The PC model, USB stick model, and whether you booted directly or with Ventoy.
- A photo or screenshot of the error, if possible.
- Logs from the `RETROLAN/Logs` folder when the stick is readable on Mac, Windows, or Linux.
Flashing help
If a USB stick fails to boot or becomes unreadable to your computer after flashing, first try the free install guide again with a different USB port and a known good USB 3.x drive. macOS may say it cannot read the boot partition; that can be normal after flashing, and the RETROLAN data partition should still be visible.
Activation help
If activation fails, send the Stick ID, the short error message, and whether the stick had internet access. Do not send private payment details or full card information.
Compatibility requests
For game compatibility requests, include the game title, version/storefront, whether you have an installed folder or installer/archive, and what happens when you try to prepare or launch it.
Response time
During launch periods, support may be handled in batches while hardware reports come in. We prioritize activation problems, boot failures, and compatibility issues with logs attached.
Security
Never send passwords, CD keys, game account credentials, private SSH keys, or payment card numbers. If a log contains private information, remove it before sending.
