Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information RetroLAN uses, why it is used, and how to contact us about it.

4. Services we use
RetroLAN may use service providers for payments, email, analytics, hosting, downloads, and support. These may include Lemon Squeezy for checkout and license purchases, Buttondown for release email, Google Analytics for analytics, and our website hosting provider.
5. Cookies and analytics
The website uses a cookie banner for analytics settings. You can change cookie settings from the footer. Essential cookies or storage may be used to remember cookie choices, handle forms, protect the website, or keep activation working.
6. Payment data
Payment card details are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. RetroLAN should not receive or store full payment card numbers.
7. Local RetroLAN data
Most RetroLAN data stays on your USB stick and local network. This can include settings, stick name, logs, prepared-game records, saved network choices, local chat, local lobby state, and the signed license file.
If you send logs or screenshots to support, they may include technical details about your PC, USB stick, network, or game folder paths. Do not send passwords, private keys, game account credentials, or CD keys.
8. Retention
We keep activation and purchase records as long as needed to provide licenses, support, tax/accounting records, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Waitlist emails can be unsubscribed from at any time. Support emails may be kept while a case is active and for a reasonable period after closure.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent for optional analytics or marketing.
To make a privacy request, email privacy@retrolan.store. We may need to verify your identity before changing account, order, or license data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as RetroLAN moves from waitlist to public sales. The updated date at the top will change when the policy changes.
